OK, I guess I have to stop calling it a gasser , but maybe a D/MP car. I can dig that too! Gary

Your model represents a typical D/G car from the early 70's. Modified Production rules would require original type suspension (no tube axles), bumpers, factory glass, no extensive body modifications (like radiused wheel wells), inner fenders, etc. Basically, MP cars were Super Stockers with non-factory installed carbureted engines (must be from the same manufacturer as the car). A 55 Chevy 150 running a tunnel-ram 327 would likely fall into D/MP, but your car is definitely a gasser. Really cool build by the way!!

And a Gasser it is. Final WIP shot. Third model finished this year and another one that's been around here for eight years or so. I'm glad to have it all done finally, and barely any foiling required on it as a bonus! Hosted on Fotki

I still dig it! Can't wait to see it 'on the shelf'! I still wish I could remember where those American mags came from that I sent you.
