I don't see any reason why the BadMan '55 shouldn't be allowed... I know it's listed as a showrod-kit over at showrods.com, but a mildly chopped '55 Chevy gasser is perfectly suitable for this forum!
One thing I've always wondered about though, is the wheels in some of these Tom Daniel designed kits (in this case the front wheels - the rear wheels are American Racing 200-S "Daisy" wheels). Does anyone know if these were supposed to look like an actual mag wheel, or if they were "just" a Tom Daniel design?

Ok I might be pushing it with this one I know the cars year fits and all what I'd be concerned about is the frame in the front and the Wheels. Its the Revell( probably old Monogram) 66 Malibu SS Flip nose

Rick, do I need to come down there and take you to school? *kidding* The wheels.....NOPE......the scoop, kinda 70's NOPE in my opinion. Could change that stuff and have a flip nose gasser if ya wanted?

Actually the tubular front framework on Monogram's old Malibu is TRaK-able - In 1965 Preston Honea ran an all-tube front framework on his 1965 Rambler Marlin AWB Match racer, although with a different front suspension setup, featuring parallel quarter-elliptical springs...

I believe your only problem there is the wheels and tires.

after some of the stuff i have seen, yeah i would say it is. the chassis and suspension parts are kinda nutty looking from that kit, but i guess? I think the kit came out in the late 60s..so it had to be possible i would think? Use your best judgement I would say.

Thanks Bob, I'm trying to "mellow out" the kit and am trying some different suspension options right now.

Would coilovers and ladder bars for the rear suspension be trakable? I think I may have uncovered a couple rods from '69 that had that setup but I'm not sure.

Ya, but what if I wanted to show the chassis here too? I only ask because I'm working on a Revell '32 Sedan and would like to show all aspects of the build here but only if it won't ruffle any feathers. I think the included bag and shock setup is a bit weak so I'm making coilovers instead and adding a panhard bar. I'll be making hairpins for the front suspension so the front will at least be Trakable.
