Just plain WOW Gary...absolutely perfect!! I'll agree with what Ron says above, this is what customizing is all about-economy of design, succinct and to the point.

The '57 'Bird is such a perfect design, it's really hard to do a custom that doesn't ruin it, but what you've got going works well with the original lines of the car. It comes off looking very much like what one of the top kustom builders would have come up with. Very nice work.

Bump I just bought a 'bird kit and was snooping around for some inspiration, hoping to find some authentic 60s-style models to soak in. This one fits the bill!!

Yeah, this one is probably on my list to finish this year. I never really liked the split grille and will probably be changing that aspect on this model. The interior will need some work too. I didn't realize just how long this has been sitting unfinished. Thanks for bringing it back up, it's good motivation to put it on the shelf this year. Gary

I'd be delighted to see an update to this model. I agree that the split grille could maybe use some modification...but I can't complain, the whole thing is way cool as-is.

Making the side character line dip down and fade away just ahead of the front wheel openings is a brilliant way to "connect" the custom headlights with the sides of the body. This is a really nice custom car.

Funny, I could see the photos earlier but now they're showing up as broken "X" icons. Hmm. Well, here's hoping they magically re-appear again!
