I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Got the windows in and the side glass that I had to make. I just used a piece of plastic cut from a package that I had and then added BMF and then painted the rubber seals around it. Not the best but it'll do. Next will be the decals on the windows.

Looking real good! After seeing the vent window knob, it dawned on me that this is a detail so rarely ever seen. I cant wait for the finished product!

Thanks guys. Yes Glenn, isn't it something how such a small detail can add so much but no one misses. It's like the oil dipstick that amazingly my wife told me that I forgot so I added it to my builds even with a removable stick with oil on it.

Thanks Duane, here's some more... Got the glass decals on now it's time to put everything together if it fits. Ooops, almost forgot about the tail lights. Would you believe the kit doesn't supply lenses and I had to paint them in.

Here's the final mock-up just to make sure things are fitting and sitting right. Once everything is locked down then I will adjust the suspension to make it "Just Right" Cross member is not in yet so the engine is hanging down right now.

Here's the engine bay all finished and ready to go. Just some clean up and then on to the wheels and she'll be done.... I hope! Oh, why are the radiator hoses so dang hard to install? I think I spent more time trying to get them glued in than almost any other part on the car.

Tim, you might as well admit, that you've invented a shrink-ray and used it on a real 427... Seriously, though - Outstanding work!

Looks great! The only thing that stands out now after you've done all this super detail work is the 'clunky' kit fan! LOL! A photo etch or home made fan would just complete the realistic look in my opinion. The fan belts were always too thick as well.......but that's a bigger pain in the butt to deal with.......trying to sand them off of the pulleys and replace them with a thinner more realistic one.....or tape. I'm not knocking your work here........just making an observation is all.......Ed

Thanks guys, No problem on your observation Ed, someday I'll get everything to look right. It takes me so long to get a build done sometimes I just have to say "That's Enough" I did have some pulleys and belts but they were for a blower set up so that wouldn't have looked right. Good thing is that those items can be changed someday if I ever get the urge to do it. Who knows, maybe someday I'll build the perfect model.....NOT! Hey Ed, I could always put a shroud over it.
