Weird that the Burgundy Purple looks darker over white than grey, gotta agree with the other guys, "left" for me, too.
Great job on this build. Interior is awesome.

Except the box art car doesn't have that fin trim. It's gonna be a sweet build, and the neat part is because that kit was never changed, you can build that from any issue. One area AMT messed up on tho is the opening for the skylight. It should go all the way out to the gutter trim. Not sure what you would to about that. Maybe tint the glass and paint the surrounding area to match? Anyway, it'll be very cool when finished, and I'm looking fwd to seeing it.

So it's no scoop for this one and I've decided to use the Burgundy metal flake paint on it. You're right Dave, The glass is a little small but yet it looks to me that the kit's trim is a little narrow too compared to the 1:1 so I'm thinking of just foiling this area and be done with it. Thanks all for your input on this build. ;D

It's a kustom so if the stock roof glass doesn't look completely correct then just say it's a kustom plexiglass piece made by some clever kustom shop.

Got it painted today. I mixed in some of the Kandy Scarlet with the Burgundy Purple Metalflake to get closer to the box art color. I like it. Can't ya just smell that fresh Testor's enamel? ;D
