Another one that has been been started for years, I decided to get serious about finishing up this Ford. Been working on the interior this week and just finished masking off the areas that will stay Tamiya pearl white before I shoot what's left black. It's going to be a box art representation except for the chrome reverse wheels I added. I used four rears from the recent Ala Kart kit. The body work and blocking is almost done and should be ready for paint soon.

Looking good, wheels really suit it - I assume you're going to leave them open and not use the baby Moon 'caps?

Great start the 56,57 Ford and 58 Chevy are all good kits considering when they were made. I have built several through the years. I would have rather the doors did not open I have always glued them shut.

you may want to strip the plating and undercoat from the roof and B-pillar pieces and glue them on before paint. they don't exacty fit that well and it will allow you to adjust for that now instead of later when there is paint to damage. also the B-pillar pieces need a section added to the bottoms that runs back to the C-pillar.

Great idea! Thanks, I think I'll do just that. Good catch on the chrome trim too. Looks like it runs back to the rear fender tip.
