I like it Dennis.......nice color choice! What did it cost you to have your baby picture scaled down for the tonneau cover decal?

I think I just saw that color on something else tonight... Looks great on a '53 F100 too!
I have that interior set, put one in the F100 I built for my brother, actually repossessed the truck and put it in after I got the set from Ed! Did it in a "Buck-Skin" tan, think brand new baseball glove color and you've got it. Have another for the truck that I'll be building for me, soon I hope!

UPDATE!Since I had to strip the running boards and floor I felt now would be a good time to address mounting the side pipes. Before I showed lakes pipes from Revell's '49 Mercury mocked up but I wasn't feeling them. Instead I decided to go with the pipes from AMT's most recent '36 Coupe/Roadster retro-deluxe issue. I installed pins that go into the bottoms of the boards, drilled the ends out and painted up in there flat black. I also made some simple pipe extensions that disappear up into the frame since the front corners of the side pipes will be visible and need to look like they're hooked up to something. Moving on to some finish work... I assembled the wheels, sanded the tire treads and gave the wheels a thin black wash in their nooks and crannies. I assembled the headlight rings and lenses to the grill. Man am I happy with the way that turned out! And I detailed out the dashboard and steering column. All for now.

Looking good! The black wash helps the details pop..I'm always afraid to add wash to chrome reverse wheels, like I'm ruining them if they aren't 200% ultra-shiny. Lol.
That grille bar/headlights came out looking extra nice.

This is coming out really nicely. That color is an excellent choice for one of these bodies and I like the graphic on the bed cover as well. Nice work on black washing the wheels, too. This will look really good when it's done.

Very smooth! I can't wait to see it finished now! I love the white grille inside the painted body........probably more so than if it were chrome oddly enough!
