Great, another one dug out of my started projects graveyard. At this point, I need to make a New Years resolution ........and maybe ask you guys which of the ones I dug up I need to wrap up first. It never works out well that way I'm afraid; least not for me! LOL! I think it's the 'push' I would need; but in the end, if I am not 100% into it (stoked about finishing it); then it will inevitably stall out again. One thing I have found that has helped productivity in the past is to completely clean the desk off....actually clean the surface too! Then pull out ONE project (so you are more focused); and see how far you can get with it! LOL!

Had some time to take a look at this project while waiting for parts on others. The AMT '29 model A body shell has fender wells that needed some plastic to close gaps along the '32 frame rail. The front wheels on many early roadster/dragsters looked like a match with the Monogram '30 model A stock spoked wheels, but with salt flat style discs. I cut the spokes off the front wheel part. and cut discs from sheet plastic. I'll paint them or use a metalizer.

Neat trick with the front wheels, there. I like the holes in the frame rail, that's going to look good.

Can never have too many flathead powered Model A projects going. You going to save the scratch built blower for a TROG-style vintage racer?

Not sure......I'd like to use that scratch built Italmeccanica blower for something.........A TROG racer.... Oh no! ANOTHER PROJECT ? BTW.....I posted one of your builds in the February flathead builds thread: trakinscale.proboards.com/thread/19435/february-21-flathead-power

I like what you have done so far. The 22jr A Bone has been in the back of my mind for a build for decades. Glad to see you doing it. Sent you a PM with a photo that may help some. Paul

Paul --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Without a doubt, I was inspired by one of the Tony Nancy 22 Jr roadsters. I thought about doing a 1/25th scale version, until I saw Martyn Faistnauer's scale model as featured in the write up by Dr. Marc Weller in SAE August 1994. He tackled everything including a ton of scratch building, as well all the decals and pinstriping with a technical drafting pen loaded with enamel. Way beyond my skills. Paul, thanks for the video! I'll continue to use this classic for inspiration, but thought I'd give it some personal touches.

i like the little driver's only rollbar with the brace going to the passenger footwell. gives a good place to plunk the fire extinguisher.
