That supercharger looks really good painted! Most people that use the SCoT put them on the ‘49-53 engines with the front corner hose connections.
There are a set of decent finned no-name heads like that in AMT’s ‘41 Woody street rod. Model Car Garage also made them.

Thanks Dennis...I'm looking around...may have sourced the front port heads. Back up plan is ordering from Model Car Garage when I have to wrap up the engine. Had some nice weather (70 + degrees low humidity) so I shot some thinned Tamiya red w/ airbrush and some ALCLAD. The Tamiya red is no. X-1 in small bottles, close enough to the Tamiya Italian Red that I had in rattle cans.

The red is somewhat transparent so I have to reshoot the frame...some lead pencil hash marks on the frame rails from measuring bled thru the red...should've checked that and applied more white primer. Sanding off and re-primering where needed.

I'm a real sucker for nose art...grille art like Von Dutch did back in the day. I found this decal in my decal stash...with a little adjustment it seems a perfect fit. Gives me a theme to work with, with the red paint job. However...I don't know the source (Looks like a Coop art) ...if this art work doesn't fit in the TRAK era "window" .............I'll give hand painting a try, with something more "vintage".

Thanks guys. Worked on the salt flat style wheel discs...Grandt line bolts glued on, and ALCLAD aluminum applied. Delicate operation, to say the least. Superglue in the wrong spot can really mess things up.

You’re right that is a “Coop Devil hard sometimes to get some of his stuff that’s PG! You usually see Coop’s Devilgirl a little more often than your iron cross devil.
So did you punch out those wheel discs with a punch and die or cut them with a real steady hand? Harbor Fright has a larger size punch and die set that’s perfect for wheels, I think I paid like $25 for the set I have. Always finding a new use for them, they were actually better finished than the Micromark set!

Trimmed the edges as needed with a sanding stick. The slick wheels are two of a set of four Parts by Parks #6004 16 " Spun aluminum salt flat discs. I had to paint over those to match the front discs, and cover the crazing the super glue leaves on the surface when the tiny bolts got applied. I'll have to look into those punches.

Paint looks good. Your interior tin work looks pretty factory, that's something many forget add.

Scratch built some tubular shocks out of aluminum tube for the front axle. LMG kit polishes it up nicely.

Shocks look excellent. I'm going to use your method and remake the fronts on my '32 coupe. Thanks for the post! Paul
